Professional recording studio “Allegiant Records” has joined forces with acclaimed music instruction program “Finding Your Voice” to offer this special and unique opportunity to learn how to write, produce and record your own songs. With a combined 50 + years of experience in the music industry, Danny Uzilevsky and Essence Goldman offer an ongoing series of 6 hour workshops focused on giving you the tools and knowledge to improve songwriting, voice, guitar playing and develop valuable arrangement and production skills.

WORKSHOP #1 – Saturday Nov 11th

“SONGWRITING”

In this first workshop, we will focus on the philosophy of songcraft, in-depth reading and  examinations of critical and popular works; followed directly by engaging in free writing exercises. The day will culminate by breaking into pairs as we guide you through the process of co-writing a new and original song.  

WORKSHOP #2 – Saturday Nov 18th

“RECORDING”

Each of the songs written at the previous week’s workshop will be recorded and produced by a professional engineer. Each songwriting pair will receive 2 hours of recording time. Participants will be guided through the step by step process of production, arrangement, and multitrack recording, developing the song from a simple idea to a finished product.
